Prose poem accepted to Writers Resist!

I am so excited to see so many artists, writers, musicians, and others raising their creative voices to resist the frightening unfolding of the current Administration.   One of those expressions of resistance is WritersResist.com — and they just accepted a prose poem I submitted!  It will be coming out in a few weeks or months — I’ll announce when I know the issue.  I wrote this poem, “Uprising,” after the Women’s Marches in January, and I read it at the Flash Fiction Collective (along with “Carnivores”) on March 2 in San Francisco.  I feel encouraged to write more pieces responding to the world that has me so aghast so often.
